Flavio Sonis is a seasoned professional with over sixteen years (16) experience in Management and Information Technology (IT) field, providing guidance to a rich cross-industry sample of companies in the areas of business strategic planning, design and program management.
Strong planner with demonstrated ability in helping business organizations harness their information technology for practical and profitable application, delivering solutions leading to significant and effective business transformation. While at Sprint and KPMG, Flavio started the e-commerce and mobile commerce practices.
Sonis has held key management positions at Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Motorola, Sprint, KPMG, Openwave, Nextel, and AOL. Flavio has provided hands-on experience helping business organizations analyze, select and implement strategies that satisfy key stakeholders by improving and/or reengineering critical business processes and aligning supporting organization and resources.
Flavio’s key expertise is in developing methods that provides integration between developers and processes, and identifying ways to link performance to business values, and providing specific remedies for aligning programs with the overall strategy of the enterprise.
Sonis has a multicultural background, fluent in Spanish and English and conversational in French, Italian, and Portuguese. When he is not working, he enjoys playing soccer and coaching several children league soccer teams.
Main reason for being interested in IPv6 is that he would like to contribute with ideas and expertise towards creating a white paper recommendation that could help our society TODAY.
